Lower Arroyo Park Archery Range
Lower Arroyo Park / Central Pasadena
The Lower Arroyo Park Archery Range is the heart of archery in Pasadena. Tucked into the historic Lower Arroyo just below Old Pasadena and the Colorado Street Bridge, it's a public City of Pasadena facility that has been continuously operated in partnership with Pasadena Roving Archers (PRA) since 1935 — making it one of the oldest continuously active archery programs in California. The range is open daily during city park hours (sunrise to sunset / dawn to dusk), but Saturday and Sunday mornings until 2:30 PM are reserved for PRA instruction and tournaments. Independent (non-class) public use requires a current City of Pasadena archery safety certification card.
Why Shoot Here
Free archery in the most beautiful natural setting in central Pasadena. Once you have your safety card, the range becomes one of the great everyday Pasadena recreation amenities — walking distance from Old Pasadena, and a few minutes from the Rose Bowl.

Independent public use of the Lower Arroyo archery range REQUIRES a current City of Pasadena archery safety certification card. This is a working public range — follow posted rules, respect PRA instruction windows on weekend mornings, and verify current certification requirements with the City of Pasadena before your first visit.
