Pasadena Roving Archers (PRA)
Lower Arroyo Park / Central Pasadena
Pasadena Roving Archers (PRA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the art of the bow and arrow in the historic Lower Arroyo Park. Operating continuously since 1935, PRA runs the instruction, safety certification, tournaments, and community programming that turn the Lower Arroyo range into a real archery institution. The club's First Time Archers class, Returning Archers programs, and weekend tournament schedule make it the single most welcoming front door into archery anywhere in the greater Pasadena area — and a defining piece of Pasadena's recreation identity.
Why Shoot Here
PRA is how Pasadena does archery. Even if you eventually shoot independently with a city safety card, you'll likely start — and probably stay — with PRA. Open to everyone, equipment provided for beginners, and one of California's oldest archery programs.
