Safety First — Read Before Visiting Any Range
Firearms and archery are inherently dangerous activities that require strict safety practices and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. This page is an informational directory only — EverythingIE is not a range operator and does not provide instruction.
All Visitors Must:
- Follow all posted range rules at all times
- Obey all staff and Range Safety Officer instructions
- Comply with all state and local firearms regulations
- Practice safe gun handling rules at all times
- Wear proper eye and ear protection
- Inspect archery equipment before each use
First-Time Shooters Should:
- Take an introductory class before shooting independently
- Only shoot under the supervision of a qualified instructor
- Start with low-caliber firearms or beginner archery equipment
- Ask range staff any questions — no question is too basic
- Follow archery lane etiquette: shoot only when the range is clear
California & Inland Empire Firearms Regulations
California has some of the strictest firearms regulations in the nation. All shooters must comply with California Penal Code regarding firearm transport, storage, and use — firearms must be transported unloaded and in a locked container. Riverside County and San Bernardino County also enforce local ordinances. San Bernardino County Code makes it unlawful in unincorporated areas to discharge a firearm or bow within 150 yards of buildings, camps, livestock, occupied trains, or similar areas without permission. For dispersed recreational shooting on public lands managed by the U.S. Forest Service (San Bernardino National Forest) or BLM, follow all posted rules and designated-area maps — shoot only on legal targets, never near structures or roads, and pack out everything you bring in.
San Bernardino County Recreational Shooting Map
San Bernardino County publishes an official Recreational Shooting Map that identifies designated areas where target shooting is generally permitted on public land. Before any dispersed-shooting outing in the High Desert or San Bernardino National Forest, consult the latest official county and U.S. Forest Service guidance — closures, fire restrictions, and seasonal rules can change without notice.
Hours, pricing, allowed calibers, and facility policies can change without notice. Always verify details on the official range website or by phone before visiting.
